The word “Daud” means “beloved.” What does offering high-quality care have to do with love? The answer is “moral responsibility”. In a relationship setting, a caregiver is constantly in situations with patients that make it a moral obligation to express affection.
We believe that love is a crucial component of care since it helps our clients’ rehabilitation while also assisting our caregivers in transforming themselves and the system. Making them feel loved entails attending to their needs and demonstrating respect for human values, cooperation, and kindness.
According to nursing theorist Jean Watson, it is impossible to provide care without simultaneously showing oneself love, respect, and self-esteem. In Watson’s view, love and care are complementary and support the development of an excellent personality. We couldn’t agree more.
Respecting the dignity and individuality of our patients is essential for good treatment. For this, we are concerned with selecting a team that, in addition to having technical skills, has human skills. Care, patience, and affection bring hope and create bonds that help overcome even the most difficult stages of recovery.
At Daud Quality Care (DQC), we believe that the result of promoting an intrinsic love of care is the comfort and well-being of our clients in all stages of care.
